California Quail sculpture is carved from Tupelo wood.  A smooth carving with minor texture on some feather edges, painted with Acrylic paint.  The rocks are carved from Poplar and legs are brass and epoxy.  250mmH x 200mmL x 170mmW

This sculpture, Chukor is a smooth carving with minimal feather texturing. The wood is Tupelo and the rocks are carved Poplar, finished with Acrylic paint, glass eyes and 200mm H x 250mm L x 220mm W.

Rainbow Trout is carved from Southland Beech, scales were burned using a pyrography pen.  Paint was applied with an airbrush using Acrylic paint. The eyes are glass and the stones are carved from Tupelo wood.  350mmH x 400mmL x 260mmW.

Ruby Throated Hummingbirds were carved using Tupelo wood, brass for the branch and leaves, glass eyes, painted with Acrylic paints and the natural wood on the bottom of the base is Teak.  400mm H x 150mm L x 220mm W.

NZ Weka is a freestanding carving measuring 270mm H x 400mm L x 125mm W. 

Carved from Tupelo wood, feathers are pyrography burned, with the addition of brass legs and feet, covered with epoxy, then carved with fine detail, glass eyes and painted with Acrylic paints.
