Turned from a branch, nice challenge, chose a bit of form, a nice day for turning, Wide 180mm high 150mm.

A piece of Puriri wood (New Zealand Mahogany) given to me by a friend, turned out to be a lovely piece with rich depth grain and very dense.  Wide 200mm Depth 90mm 

Macrocarpa bowl, pierced, to show the hands of peace. Width 230mm, height 150mm.

Chestnut off centre, bowl 240mm x 40mm height. Off centre bowl with nice grain effect, and a few embellished edges and base, nice to turn looks nice on the sideboard. 

Hollow form bowl, with embellishing and piercing. From Totara from the Garden.  Wide 150mm, height 90mm 

A nice challenge, Chestnut box, off centre turning lovely grain, nice to turn, with a three sided off set. Width 70mm, height 125mm.

Repair to a bowl which started splitting, repaired with resin and leather stiching Wide 160mm 90mm Depth

Chestnut box, with tapered purple heart pin and kauri finial to provide colour and a technical feature.  Wide 150mm high 150mm with finial.

Whoops a daisy, chestnut, 240mm height 70mm wide.  Ended up going through the side of the vase and decided there was an opportunity to recover the Vase, created a floating Vase with Daisys.
