Swamp kauri salvaged from a farm shed, destined for firewood after usable timber was removed. Clockface shaped to house the mechanism, with ebony and kauri inserts highlighting time segments. Finished with traditional wax. Dimensions: 220mm wide × 260mm high × 40mm thick.
Crafted from neighbouring cedar and pōhutukawa, this piece is finished with traditional wax and inspired by a diver’s badge from my Naval service. It features a shoulder plate and detailed diving helmet, with external fittings, light, and rear hose connections. Dimensions: 200mm × 230mm
