Carved Papahou depicting Papatuanuku and Ranginui, carved `with the Kirikiore pattern.  measures 360 x 180 x 95 high.

Natural edge olive box and lid, ash legs. Painted interior, stained legs, danish oil finish.  14 cm diameter, 10 cm tall

Kauri and epoxy resin Peace box. Height: 30mm. Dia: 68mm. Recycled kauri fascia and resin that puts a smile on peoples faces.

Heart Rimu and Kauri. Size: 55mm high, 55mm Dia.  The second box I ever made.

Small lidded box made from a piece of Pohutukawa gifted from a friend. Measures 112 mm diameter and 57mm high with the lid on. Finished with EEE Cream and Briwax.

"Poseidon’s Cache" Caved/Textured old growth Cypress Urn depicting one of Poseidon's mythical possessions , three dimensionally carved body to form a sealed vessel not pierced, natural Cypress heartwood, colour oiled and sealed with several coats of Lacquer  320mm(12.5")H x 220mm(8.5")diam

Lidded box in cherry with spalted beech inlaid lid and inner details.  Finished with Danish oil and Beall buff.  8.5 x 6.5 cm

An oak puzzle ball box is held captive in a two piece walnut sphere which is presented on a triangular engraved base with a beehive lid to continue the bee engraving theme.  180mm high x 40mm diameter.

I was inspired by a picture of a Teardrop shaped box I saw on Facebook, and liked the form of it.  This is quite thin and light.  100mm diameter and 140mm high.

This is a Reiki box I made for myself out of a limb cut from the Western Cypress tree our children's swing was attached to. I added acrylic, oak and possibly walnut. It is a time capsule as the family grows up. 485 mm height, 110 mm width and depth at the base.

Lidded hollow vessel made from Puriri. Kauri lid with an off-centre finial. Rifleman (New Zealand’s smallest bird) carved from Lemonwood. 170mm diameter × 300mm high.

Heart Rimu Box with Macrocarpa inserts. 45mm High. 70mm Dia.  This was a great way to use up some off-cuts and make them into something a little special.

Ring box 

Ring box of end grain Queens Ebony (Xanthostemon melanoxylon)  and Birds eye Totora (Podocarpus totara), with ring cushion of red baize. Finished with Osmo oil and Indian ink. Suction fitting lid. 77mm diameter x 33mm high. 

Apricot body Kami top, 40mm H x 70mm Dia Black felt lined. 5 coats of sprayed lacquer. buffed.

This box is a simple yet classical jewellery style box. The wood is red beech? Harvested from the Tauwharenīkau River. The box is 95mm wide by 55mm deep. The finish is tung oil then Beall buffed

Open and closed segmented bowl and lid.182 segments, made from Maple and Purple Heart, 215mm high, 245mm wide, Finished with Gloss Laquer.

A Black Maire miniature lidded box for storing those special keepsakes.  Finish:  Danish Oil.  Dimensions:  80mm wide x 60mm high.
