Ring box of end grain Queens Ebony (Xanthostemon melanoxylon) and Birds eye Totora (Podocarpus totara), with ring cushion of red baize. Finished with Osmo oil and Indian ink. Suction fitting lid. 77mm diameter x 33mm high.
Decorated with a papercut scene of Alpabzug, an autumn thanksgiving for the safe return of cattle from high alpine pastures. Aspen and Birch 2.5mm plywood, poplar, birch veneer and glass. Nitrocellulose lacquer. 123 x 117 x 28mm.
Oregon, brass rod and Silky oak, painted and lacquered. A balance between dramatic woodgrain, complimentary and contrasting colours, organic and geometric shapes. Bone dry 100-year-old recycled Oregon turned to 4mm. 190 x 120 x 75mm.
