Red beech harvested from land being cleared for dairy farming on the West Coast.  Given a coat of Haarlem Danish and the Beall buffed.  285 diameter and 90mm high.

A macrocarpa form inside a pohutukawa form.  Constructed as shown to us by Paul Barton.  Finish is spray lacquer.  175mm wide and 155mm high. 

Black maire sphere 62mm diameter with pohutukawa slides that extend 15mm either side when moved back and forth. Finished with Fiddes wax. 

A pohutukawa bowl with a poured pewter rim and foot.  Finished with Fiddes wax.  100mm wide and 60mm high. 

Pohutukawa bowl 145 diameter by 70mm high embellished with hand beaten pewter panels of extinct, rare and threatened native New Zealand species. 

A piece of Oregon beam recovered from a building that was constructed in 1946.  Finish is sprayed lacquer.  105 diameter and 120mm high. 

A square of kauri from a tree that was felled a hundred or more years ago.  Probably sitting in a shed waiting for a home ever since.  Finished with Haarlem Danish oil. 310mm wide and 40 thick.

From a wind-thrown olive tree in Cornwall Park, Auckland.  Old enough to have been planted by Logan Campbell. Finished with spray lacquer. 230 wide and 70 high

The root of a Takanini swamp kauri. Carbon dating of other logs from this area ages them at 1290 years BP. Finished with Haarlem Danish oil. Size 310 wide and 30mm thick. 

Drooping sheoak (Allocasuarina verticillata) grown in Canterbury. Treated with Haarlem Danish oil and finished with spray lacquer. 180 long, 90 wide and 120 high.
