Made from a piece of red beech won in a raffle and looking very ugly at the time. I call this piece 'aliens' because of the imagery found in the burl.  Finish is walnut oil.  The main diameter is 325mm, height 50mm, with a 90mm foot.

Puriri milled from a tree felled on the Kapiti Coast.  Pyrograph design based on the Celtic Dara knot, symbolising strength and resilience, appropriate attributes of the Puriri timber used.  875mm long, top diam 32mm, bottom diam 20mm.  Finished with Walnut oil.
